SAINT LYDIA, MARTYR 9519 Saint Lydia lived during the reign of Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD), a cruel persecutor of Christians. During one such persecution, Saint Lydia and her family members were arrested and tortured however God strengthened and preserved them. While the holy martyrs began to pray and thank God, they gave up their souls to the Lord.
