Product Description

St. Kalliope lived around the 3rd century. A pagan suitor, who was unable to marry her, brought her to trial. To this, Kalliope boldly confessed her faith in Christ. She was then publicly flogged. They burned her face with branding irons and poured salt in her open wounds. They offered to spare her life if she disavowed Christ. She remained steadfastly faithful to her heavenly Bridegroom and surrendered her life in the year 250.

Feast Day: 8th June
