SAINT MARY MAGDALEN, THE MYRRH-BEARER, FULL BODY 9463 St. Mary Magdalene was healed by Christ of seven tormenting demons and for this she was deeply grateful. St. Mary Magdalene was called the “Apostle to the Apostles” because she was the first to bring the news of Christ’s Resurrection. She was one of the Myrrh-Bearing Women who came to the tomb to anoint Jesus’ body with fragrant oils and spices. She later lived near St. John the Theologian in Ephesus, helping him until she died.
