Saint Iphigenia came from Pontus and was born in 53 AD. During the great persecution of Christians from Roman Emperor Nero, Iphigenia, at the age of 15, was captured by Commander Mark and she was tortured. Iphigenia’s faith has managed to convince and change the Governor’s views, who asked for forgiveness.
