SAINTS KYRICOS AND HIS MOTHER JULITTA, OF TARSUS, FULL BODY 7143 Kyriacos and Eulita his mother originated from Iconium. After fleeing from persecution 3 times Euilita understood that this was an invitation from God to martyrdom. So she accepted this invitation, enduring many tortures. The ruler, Diocletian was overwhelmed by her endurance and so attempted to persuade her 3 year old son Kyriacos. But to everyone’s surprise, Kyriacos answered, “Your idols are made of stone and wood. My real God is Jesus Christ.” At that point they were both executed on July 22, 305 AD.
