SAINT THEOCLETOS the MARTYR was the Sorcerer Lampadios who tried to poison Saint Photini and her companions. Being ordered by the Emperor to kill Saint Photini, he prepared a most deadly poison and stated “If you do not die after you drink this, I will become a Christian”. Saint Photini and her companions remained unharmed and after having seen this miracle take place in front of his eyes he burnt his Magic Books and was baptised with the name Theokletos. The enraged Emperor then had him beheaded.
